"Punkromantic" was taken during a journey to the spanish island of Teneriffe. The carnival in Santa Cruz is a highlight on the island and famous for it's atmosphere and duration. This couple was having a private moment in a small park in the center of Santa Cruz. The seemingly floating decorations and the absence of light give this picture a dreamy connotation. The center of attention is formed by the, dressed as punks, couple on the ground, lost in the moment of an embracing kiss, that was gone a split second later when the photographer was spotted.
